Do my customers need a US address?

Answer

Yes. The account owner must be US-based and have a US address.

Some exceptions can be made upon request and bank partner approval (e.g., test accounts for overseas employees). Another note: beneficial owners and officers of business accounts may have foreign addresses as long as the business has a US address.
