No Code Implementation

This section helps you launch a merchant cash advance program without code by using the Unit Dashboard. Launching a no code program means your eligible customers will automatically receive financing offers via email and be directed to a Unit-hosted experience on your platform's domain to apply for and manage their financing.

Launch Your Program

Log in to the Unit Dashboard and navigate to Settings from the top menu under the Developer section to complete the following steps:

1. Upload Your Prospect File

Select the Capital tab under Settings.

  • Upload Capital Prospect File in the required format to share a list of customers you would like Unit to underwrite for prequalified offers.

2. Configure Payment Processor Settings

Select the Payment Processing tab under Settings to configure Unit's access to anonymized payment processing data for underwriting of merchant cash advance offers.

  • Select your Vendor from the dropdown (e.g., Stripe).
  • Enter your API key (your payment processor secret key).
  • Enter your Webhook secret (your payment processor webhook signing secret).
  • Click Save to apply your settings.

3. Set Up Branding

Select Branding on the left sidebar to upload your logo and select primary and secondary brand colors for white labeling your customer's experience.

4. Configure Email Outreach

Select Outreach under Settings to configure the email from which Unit will send prequalified offers with your branding to customers.

  • Next to Email Addresses select +New
  • Enter "Capital" for Name
  • Enter the Domain, Sender Email, and Sender Name
  • Press Create
  • Add DNS Records returned in response to your Domain
  • Press Verify Domain

5. Configure Web Domain

Select the Capital tab under Settings to configure the domain where your customers will access the end-to-end capital experience.

To the end-customer, it will look like the experience is hosted on your sub-domain (e.g., capital.yourdomain.com), while in practice it would be hosted by Unit.

  • Next to Web Domain select +New
  • Enter "Capital" for Name
  • Enter the URL you would like to use
  • Press Create
  • Add DNS Records returned in response to your DNS provider within 72 hours
  • Press Verify Domain

Grow Your Program

Explore optional ways to drive program discoverability and increase adoption rates.

(Optional) Expand Your Program's Reach

Use the Prequalified Offer Component to surface financing offers directly in your platform's UI. Placing prequalified offers at high-traffic areas or key decision points can significantly boost application rates compared to an email-only approach.

(Optional) Monitor Capital Metrics

Use the Capital Portfolio tab in the Unit Dashboard to track offer activity, application rates, and portfolio performance, so you can measure the impact of your program over time.

(Optional) Automate Updates to Your Prospect Population

Use the Create Prospect API to add or update prospects programmatically, so Unit is always evaluating your current customer population for offers without manual file uploads.

(Optional) Keep Customers in Your Platform

Use the Ready-to-Launch component to let customers apply for financing, accept offers, and manage their financing without leaving your platform, creating a seamless experience that reduces friction and increases take-up rates.
