Prospect Emails
Prospect emails are marketing email templates targeting end customers who have not yet started the banking application form. Unlike Customer Emails, these are not sent automatically by Unit — you decide which emails to send, to whom, and when, using your own email infrastructure.
Implementation
How it works
- Download the HTML template(s) you want to use (links below under each email).
- Replace the template variables (see table below) with your actual values before sending.
- Send through your own email service provider (ESP) or marketing automation tool.
Template variables
Each template contains the following placeholders that you must replace before sending:

{{balanceVariant}} | The name of your banking product (e.g. Balance) |
{{logo}} | Absolute URL to your logo image |
{{primaryColor}} | Your brand primary color as a hex value (e.g. #0062FF) |
{{url}} | The CTA link destination — your banking sign-up or landing page URL |
{{maxApy}} | The maximum APY percentage to display (e.g. 2.5) |
{{bank}} | The name of the issuing bank for the legal footer (e.g. i3 Bank) |
The {{primaryColor}} variable is used both for the top color bar and the CTA button. Make sure the value is a valid hex color so the button text remains readable.
Nudge Email
Purpose
Re-engage prospects who haven't set up their banking account yet. Reminds them of what they're missing out on and provides a direct call-to-action to get started.

Initial Value Email
Purpose
Introduces prospects to the core value proposition — helping them access funds faster, organize cash flows, and earn yield, all in one place.

After Activity Email
Purpose
Follows up with prospects who have shown activity on the platform but haven't opened a banking account. Highlights the benefit of unlocking faster access to funds directly inside your platform.
